MØ - When I Was Young Review

Since her debut album release in 2014, fans have been eagerly awaiting new music from Danish singer-songwriter MØ. Over the past couple of years she’s worked her magic on tracks with the likes of Iggy Azalea, Charli XCX and Major Lazer but today MØ seems set to take the spotlight once again with a surprise six-track EP release. The title track and first single ‘When I Was Young’ combines killer vocals with a ridiculously catchy brass hook to create what’s surely set to be another fan favourite. The track takes a nostalgic look back at simpler times, when life was easier and carefree for MØ. Instead of mourning the loss of this freedom, ‘When I Was Young’ is an upbeat celebration of those times. While there’s still no news on the second album yet, MØ recently announced UK tour dates for 2018 which includes a night at the LCR on the 5th of April.
