We've been UEA's award winning student radio station for over 25 years.

Whether you're looking for reviews, interviews, podcasts, today's schedule, to catch-up with your favourite show or just to listen live, you'll find it all right here!

Thursdays 14:00 - 15:30

Culture Curious is one of the most unique shows on Livewire’s already eclectic schedule. A daytime radio show with a twist, Culture Curious explores a wide range of cultures on its show, meaning the audience are both learning and laughing their way through the hour and a half. The show is so much fun, with its presenters’ infectious personalities capturing your attention from the get-go and hooking you right until the very end, immersing you in the show and creating its own unique culture. A fun show with an educational message; what more could you ask for?

Fridays 17:00 - 18:00

Livewire was proud to welcome the ladies of UEA Femsoc onto our airwaves this week for the first time ever. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Femsoc kindly stepped in and produced an hour long radio show that covered a wide range of women's issues and we liked it so much that we're giving them the slot full time until the end of the semester! For their insight, knowledge and willingness to jump into the world of radio, there was no content for Speech Pick of the Week this week, as Femsoc blew us all away. We can't wait to hear what they do next.

Thursdays 18:00 - 19:30

If you want to hear possibly the most knowledgeable presenter ever to grace student radio, Spotlight is where you need to be. Sarah knows it all about musicals, and her playlist is full of energy and fun. She can recite incredible trivia about pretty much any show or track, with a passionate and experienced presenting style. Her show will also give you the lowdown on what is going on in musical theatre in Norwich, sometimes with competitions to win tickets thanks to her amazing links to the Theatre Royal. Expect a standing ovation every Thursday at 18:00 on Spotlight!

Laura Sandoval

The very first episode of this podcast, Laura and Aimi have joined forces to shed light on a rarely-discusses topic. The two presenters have a great rapport with one another and are passionate about their cause. Give Ubicate a listen if you’re a Latinx student wanting to feel involved in a community, or a non-Latinx student looking to educate yourself, either way you won’t be disappointed.
